Mazz CPA was started by Mike Mazzanna in an effort to help modernize the accounting industry. Mazz CPA is dedicated to streamlining the client experience, ensuring that every interaction is efficient and effective.

Mike has 7+ years of experience in the accounting industry servicing clients across multiple industries. Mike started his public accounting career with KPMG helping large public companies meet their tax compliance and accounting needs. He worked directly with clients giving presentations to help them bring complex tax processes in house and developed a strong ability to communicate challenging tax and accounting topics in an easy way for clients to feel empowered.

Mike developed a passion for advising small businesses and individuals. Speaking with clients to understand their own unique needs and financial goals was a fulfilling part of the work for him. His entrepreneurial spirit drew him to other accounting firms, where he was able to work more closely with individual, small business, and corporate clients. Industries serviced include real estate, service/consulting, entertainment/media, and artists.

In his most recent role, Mike was the lead tax contact for a F200 company as the department’s tax technology administrator. He was instrumental in the implementation of a new Finance and Accounting system. He has taken the experience of building processes for one of the nation’s largest companies into scaling his own practice.

With a wide range of exposure in different roles serving clients of all sizes, Mike is confident in his ability to deliver accurate and timely work. He also understands how challenging this area can be for small business owners. His mission is to help business owners focus on what they’re best at while providing a modern client experience.
